Sports Strapping Courses - Next Course on Saturday 19 July 2014

Learn the basic strapping techniques for the upper& lower body. A practical course designed to assist the weekend warrior, sports coach or trainer to understand the basic principles of sports strapping for injury management.


Course includes all strapping tape during course, 1 x 25mm and 1 x 38mm tape to take home, a power point presentation handbook and morning tea.

 

What to wear: Comfortable and warm clothing as you will be expected to change into sports bra and/or shorts for strapping practical. Shaving of legs may assist when stripping off of sports tape.

Level of class: Sports coaches, trainers or those interested in injury management will benefit from the course, as we will practice the basic strapping techniques for the most common sports injuries. A basic knowledge of anatomy is recommended.

 

Date & Venue: Saturday 19 July, 2014 - 9.30am-1.30pm

                      St George’s Church-Youth Rooms (below Church Hall)

                      19 Ranfurly Road, Epsom.

 

Numbers in a class: A maximum of 10 ensures we provide a professional and personalised service.

 

Investment for course: $190 (incl GST) or earlybird price $130(incl GST).

Sports Massage

1. Sports Massage Courses
This practical course offers the opportunity to learn massage techniques to enhance the relaxation of muscles and improve athlete’s recovery after exercise. Learn how traditional massage skills can be an invaluable tool in athletic performance.

A handbook and all massage oils will be provided. All you have to bring is a massage table between 2 people and your towels!

 

What to wear: Comfortable and warm clothing as you will be expected to change into no top or sports bra and shorts for massage practical.

Level of class: Sports coaches, trainers or those interested in learning the basic techniques of massage for their teams or individual interest will benefit from the course. A basic knowledge of anatomy is recommended.

 

Date & Venue: We bring the course to you at a date and venue of your choice!

All we require from you is a group of keen participants!

 

Numbers in a class: A maximum of 10 ensures we provide a professional and personalised service.

 

Investment for course: $300 (incl GST) - 6 x 2 hour sessions
